Christmas Tree 2008

Another successful tree hunting trip! We found our "perfect" tree. We all helped decorate, which was very nice. Only Pop Pop got to go with us. Schedules just seem to be getting to busy to get the whole crew together. Hopefully next year!

Tae Kwon Do Tournament

John had his first tournament on Sunday. He did a great job. He came home with a 1st place trophy in forms and a 2nd place trophy in sparring!!! The last picture includes his buddy Josh. Josh came home with two 1st place trophies!

Trick-or-Treat!!!

John went trick-or-treating with cousins and friends this past Saturday. We ended up running home in the rain. But everyone was ready to be done anyway. Everyone had a great time.

First Day of 2nd Grade!!!

Sorry for the delay on the first day pics. The camera wasn't cooperating. The last picture is the best since he wasn't being goofy. So far he loves his teacher. Recess is still his favorite subject:)

Trip to Lancaster

Pop-pop took us to Lancaster this year. We stayed at a B&B on a working dairy farm. It was very cool. Lots of kittens and baby cows! We spent a day at the Rough and Tumble Antique Gas Engine show. Another day at the Strousberg Railroad and Cherry Creek Farm. We also did some driving around to see the area and spent time just hanging out at the farm. The farm was definitely John's favorite with all the kittens.

Summer at Moosehead Lake

We spent 3 weeks in Maine this summer. It was awsome! We climed Mt. Kineo, kayaked, swam, went on a seaplane ride. We pretty much did it all!!!

Life's A Beach!!!

John and Mom went to Ocean City one day last week. Here are some pics of John on his new Boogie Board. We were at the beach the day before with Daddy and he decided John's old board was too small. The new one worked great!
